Boarding

We are a 35 acre boarding facility in Oconee County, Georgia conveniently located seven minutes from Downtown Watkinsville, and less than five minutes from Downtown Bishop and the University of Georgia Team Equestrian Complex. Boarding

We offer pasture board, with an option for stall use during inclement weather for a per day fee. Pasture board includes hay and feed appropriate for the time of year and horse’s needs, water, and use of amenities. Owner lives on site.

Feed is Triple Crown Senior Gold.

Our hay is round bale Timothy Orchard from North River Farms, located in Western NC. Round bales are offered to herds in a Hay Hut. Hay Chix Nets may be available for use depending on the herd’s needs.

Barn

  • Our 10 stall barn is adapted with safety, ventilation, and lighting in mind.

  • 10 12’x12’+ Stalls with M10 subfloor, 3/4” stall mats, 18” outdoor rated fans, aisle and stall lighting, American Stalls full sized doors, multiple halter hooks, blanket rack, ample ventilation.

  • All new electrical

  • Newly paved aisles

  • Updated plumbing

  • 3 Large wash bays with hot and cold water

  • Huge 22’x32’ tack room and community space with washer and dryer, refrigerator and microwave

  • Separate locked feed room

  • Cross ties, collapsible saddle racks, bridle hooks, and outlets throughout

  • Half bath

  • Separate storage building for hay and shavings

Arena and Riding Spaces

  • The 100’x200’ sand arena has eight+ jumps, a judge’s stand, observation seating, and hardwired lighting allowing for riding in the evening.

  • The 200’x300’ grass riding area is a great alternative with gentle inclines, schooling jumps and logs.

  • Boarders enjoy trail riding around the 35 acre property with cleared areas throughout.

    Pastures

  • Currently we have approximately 20 acres divided among seven pastures, ranging from one acre to five acres.

  • Fencing is no-climb wire with a single hot tape on top.

  • Two pastures have run-in sheds, with others offering shade options.

  • We keep small herds and a low headcount on property to prevent overgrazing.

  • Pastures are treated with Grazon, over-seeded and fertilized as needed.
