How to Purchase a Lesson Package

Lessons are sold in packages of four. Pricing is as follows:

30 minute private riding lessons, Package of 4 = $190

45 minute semi private lessons, Package of 4 = $190 (Jess must first approve riders for semi private lessons)

Packages expire eight weeks after the first scheduled lesson of the package.

What to Bring to Your Lesson

A completed and signed riding lesson agreement and liability waiver. Please email legacyoaksfarmga@gmail.com to receive the waiver.

Cancellation Policy

Only reserve lesson appointments you intend to keep. 

Clients must give 12 hours notice to cancel.

Cancellations given with less than 12 hours notice: the lesson is forfeited - no refunds, no exceptions.

Cancellations given with more than 12 hours notice: make up lesson must be scheduled in the eight week window of your lesson package.

Lessons canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled at no penalty to the client. Please find another lesson time slot on the online scheduler.

Lesson Descriptions

Private Riding Lessons: 30 minute scheduled riding lessons. In private lessons, the rider receives the instructor’s full attention and lesson curriculum tailored to the rider’s level and progress. Lesson horses and tack are provided. Client must provide their own personal gear and apparel including helmet, boots with a heel, and long pants. Lessons are spent predominantly riding, but a few minutes may be used to tack/untack the horse.

Groundwork Lessons: 30 minute instruction on the ground including how to correctly lead and handle a horse, lunging, addressing horse behavior, advanced grooming and care techniques, and more. This is a great option when weather doesn’t permit riding.

Semi Private Riding Lessons: 45 minute group riding lessons are for advanced beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders who at a minimum have an understanding and application of steering and navigating the ring with other riders. Jess must approve all semi private riding pairings.
